For Halloween, I’m sharing these Happy Halloween wishes from our cats as part of a sponsored campaign with Collective Bias and Sheba cat food. Years ago, when my kids were little, I used to have so much fun shopping for their Halloween costumes each year. I “oohed” and “aahed” over the little princess and cowboy costumes. I stocked up on orange plastic pumpkins and Halloween candy. I snapped photo after photo of the kids in their costumes before we went out trick or treating.

Now that my kids are 16 and 20, I don’t get to dress them up for Halloween any longer. I still find myself wandering through the costume aisle at the store remembering when they were that young. When Collective Bias asked me to participate in a campaign for Sheba and dress my cats up for Halloween, I was thrilled! Finally! I’d have a chance to relive the days when my kids were little.
We have three cats that are part of our family. Colors is the matriarch of the family at ten years old. She is a beautiful tortoise shell cat we adopted years ago from the Humane Society.
Heather is seven and the shyest of our cats. We adopted her from a friend when they moved and couldn’t bring her with them. She has gorgeous shiny, black fur.
Scout is our baby and the only boy in the house. He’s about four and we adopted him from the Humane Society as well. He’s definitely the trouble maker of the family.
None of our cats has ever been dressed up as anything before so I wasn’t exactly sure how they’d take to it. Heather and Colors wanted to be pumpkins this year. They felt the orange color of the pumpkin would really compliment their beautiful fur. Scout wanted nothing to do with a pumpkin. He felt a boy cat should be something more distinguished like a vampire.
While I was checking out the cute costumes at Walmart, I decided the cats needed a Halloween treat. Of course, you can’t buy cats Halloween candy but I did notice that Sheba cat food had a buy 6 get 1 free coupon on their website and decided a premium cat food treat would be something they’d enjoy. It’s important to me that we feed our cats a premium diet so they stay healthy and active. After they all dressed up in their Halloween costumes, it was time to enjoy their Sheba Cat Food. They all loved it and Scout and Heather even shared!
