I am the first one to admit that I am totally addicted to technology. My iPhone comes with me everywhere I go. I check my emails when grocery shopping and talk to clients on Skype while I fold the laundry. Working at home is a very delicate balance of family, household responsibilities and work. I don’t have the luxury of putting family and household responsibilities on hold while I work any more than I can put work on hold while I deal with family responsibilities. If you work at home too, I’m sure this is nothing new. You’re probably very familiar with needing to juggle making dinner, talking to a client on the phone and signing for a UPS package all at the same time.
I remember my first cordless phone. That dates me I know. I remember how freeing it was to be able to walk around the house while you were on the phone. I remember going outside and sitting on the front steps while I chatted with a friend. I only have one problem with my cordless phone, like everything else, it’s a lot smaller than the traditional corded phone. Why is that a problem? Because I cannot hold it between my ear and my shoulder any longer. That means I need to keep one hand on the phone which leaves me only one hand free to type, make dinner, fold laundry, sign for packages, drink coffee and deal with general chaos around me while I’m on the phone.
Hands Free Cordless Phone
Well, now I have something new and I cannot figure out how I ever lived without it. The Vtech 2 Handset Connect to Cell Answering System with Cordless Headset is the answer to my problem. Now I can have a hands free landline and/or cellular conversation anywhere in the house. This system includes a DECT 6.0 Cordless headset that lets you make and receive both landline AND cellular calls. It also includes a digital answering system and a full duplex handset speakerphone. What does that mean? It means I can take both cell phone calls and landline calls from this one phone using a cordless headset! No more trying to balance the phone while you work. No more running around trying to figure out exactly where your phone is when it rings. No more dead spots in the house where your cell phone won’t work. Here are just a few more neat features:
- Download Phonebook From Cell: Store 2000 records from up to two different cell phones; no need to input names and numbers into your cordless phone system.
- Virtual Multi-Line Operation: Pair up to two cellular lines and one landline with your cordless system. Then, enjoy the freedom to make and receive calls on all three lines—all at once.
- Make and receive landline and cellular calls: Connect to BLUETOOTH®-enabled cellular phones to make and receive cellular calls with the ease and comfort of a home phone system.
How did I ever live without a hands free cordless phone? Juggling multiple responsibilities just got so much easier. I love being able to have both hands free while I’m on the phone. If the kids need me or someone knocks at the door, I can continue my conversation and go wherever I need to. I’m not sure how I managed before I discovered this hands free cordless phone but I’m so glad I have it now.
