Lean Cuisine Culinary Collection meals allow me to feel like I’m splurging without blowing my weight loss plan. I love being able to enjoy special meals that I don’t normally cook but I often feel like the fat content or calories just makes this impossible. Who wants to waste almost all of their calories allowed for the day on just one meal? I know that I don’t.
We don’t eat a lot of fancy meals in our home. At the end of the day after working and driving the kids around to different activities, I just don’t have the time or the energy necessary to create something like that for dinner. I miss the days that I had extra time to experiment with exotic Thai or Indian recipes. Even more, I miss the days I could run out for a restaurant meal with the girls.
Lean Cuisine Culinary Collection
A group of today’s hottest chefs including Michelle Bernstein, Brad Farmerie, Paul Kahan, Anita Lo, Lior Lev Sercarz and Lucien Vendome are enjoying the bolder colors and tastes of the season to create new recipes with exciting flavors for Lean Cuisine’s Culinary Collection. Chef’s Pick recipes in this collection include:
- New Spinach Artichoke Ravioli
- New Asparagus Ravioli
- Ranchero Braised Beef
- Chili Lime Chicken
- Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli
- Chicken Makhani
- Chicken & Vegetables
- Chicken in Peanut Sauce
- Chicken Carbonara
- Glazed Chicken
- Steak Tips Portobello
- Chicken with Basil Cream Sauce
- Chicken Pecan
- Thai-Style Chicken
- Chicken Marsala
- Lemon Chicken
- Orange Chicken
Don’t those sound truly tempting? I know they do to me! The best part about it is that they aren’t going to destroy your diet. Most of the meals have between 230 and 300 calories per meal and are 6 or 7 Weight Watchers Points Plus per meal. By adding in a tossed salad, you have the perfect meal that is not only healthy but delicious. I was able to try the Chicken Carbonara which is roasted white meat chicken with fettuccini, asparagus and bacon in a creamy sauce. Yum! I love that these meals can be prepared in either a microwave or conventional oven. Some frozen meals have switched to microwave only which is extremely annoying since we don’t use a microwave.
My store did not carry all the varieties in the Culinary Collection Chef’s Pick but I am definitely looking forward to trying a few more of them. These are ideal for keeping on hand when I don’t want to turn to fast food but need something healthy that doesn’t require a lot of hands on preparation time. These are definitely a must have for any busy mom. Have you tried the Lean Cuisine Culinary Collection yet? Which was your favorite?
I have partnered with Lean Cuisine through DailyBuzz Food to help promote their new line of Chef’s Pick products. I have been compensated for my time commitment to work with this product. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments. Thank you Lean Cuisine!
