Make your own Superbowl invitation this year to invite people to your Superbowl party. No need to run to the store to purchase invitations for your Superbowl party, you can create a Superbowl invitation that is unique and cute by following these directions. This Superbowl invitation would work equally as well for a football themed birthday party or even for Father’s Day for a Dad who loves football.
Superbowl Invitation
Materials
Brown scrapbook paper
White scrapbook paper
Glue stick
Printable football template
You’re invited clip art (right click, save, resize, print)
Cut out the football shape using the template from your brown scrapbook paper. When cutting it out, fold the brown paper in half and leave space at the top connected as your top fold to hold the card together. I used a brown mulberry paper for my card to give it a bit of texture. You can use any type of brown scrapbook paper or even brown construction paper would work fine.
Cut out the white strips using the football template. Trace onto heavier white scrapbook paper and glue to the football shape using a glue stick that dries clear.
Cut out the you’re invited circle, a circle from the white scrapbook paper that is slightly larger, and a circle from the brown scrapbook paper that is larger than that. Glue together and then glue on the left hand side of your invitation. If you have a certain football team you’re cheering for, you can make the circles in their team colors if you prefer.
Type up the details of your party like the time, place, and RSVP information and print it out. Glue it inside your invitation and you’re done!
Have you ever made your own Superbowl invitation before for your Superbowl party? Do you make any other decorations or do you rely on store bought decorations for your party?

Super cute! Handmade invitations are way better than store bought
I love these adorable invites! I could totally see this for more than the super bowl, love the creativity! Adding a picture of the Birthday Boy would make it a keepsake, or even adding it to a scrapbook page, or even adding it to one of my keepsake collages would make it that much more unique and individual. I love the paper you used, creates a nice looking texture!
These are really cute, it would be easy to customize them with your team(s) logos too!
very cute! And a simple way to spread the news about the party!
Those are great invitations to make. It almost makes me want to host a Superbowl party this year. (But, sadly, hubby doesn’t really like football.)
Very cute! This would be a fun project to put the kids on!
What a great idea! Love these.
Great idea for an invite!!
This one is great for me
Those are adorable invites!
Very cool! If we were hosting a party, we probably wouldn’t even use invites, we’d just either call or FB them and invite! LOL
So cute! I love handmade invitations and cards!
Ellen, this is so cute! Love that it could be used for a Superbowl party or even a kids’ party. Thanks for linking up to Inspire Me Wednesday!
Very nice idea, my father in law has a birthday party this coming weekend. This can be a good idea for a twist to be a thank you card as he is a super fan.
This is really cute! Amazing what a little scrapbook or construction paper can do.
I love receiving hand-made invites and cards. This one looks easy to make and cute too!
