I’ve long been a fan of Quaker products. I grew up eating their oatmeal for breakfast and the kids enjoy their products today. I like knowing that there are Quaker products that contain whole grains that my kids ask for regularly. Quaker has seven new products that contain wholesome goodness you and your children will enjoy. As a Quaker Insider, I got to sample their new breakfast and snack time products.
Quaker Whole Hearts cereal
Quaker Whole Hearts is a lightly sweetened oat cereal that is a valuable source of soluble fiber from oats. They contain 14g of heart-healthy whole oats, 3g of total fiber, and only 6g of sugar. At only 110 calories for a serving of cereal and only 1.5g of fat, this has been my choice for breakfast. I love the fact that it holds its crunch in milk.
Quaker Oatmeal Squares Honey-Nut
Quaker Oatmeal Squares are available in Honey-Nut, Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, and Golden Maple. They have 46g of whole grains, 5g of fiber and 6g of protein! This is a great choice when you’re looking for a cereal that is lightly sweetened.
Instant Quaker Oatmeal Chocolate Chip
Chocolate chips in wholesome whole grain oatmeal. Only 130 calories in a serving so if you are craving something chocolate this is a good choice. I admit to not being a chocolate for breakfast fan but my son loves this and as an occasional treat, it works great.
Quaker Yogurt Granola Bars
Quaker Yogurt Granola Bars are a snack that contains toasted whole grain oats and real fruit dipped in delicious yogurt flavored coating. Flavors available include Blueberry, Strawberry, and Vanilla. Not only are these a good source of whole grains, they are a good source of calcium. Each bar is 150 calories so this is an idea snack for me that still allows me to stay in my calorie goals. I’m really loving the strawberry flavor.
Quaker Stila Bars & Bits
Stila Bars & Bits are a crispy oat cookie bar with a fruit filling. They contain 100 calories or less and are available in Strawberry, Apples & Cinnamon, Blueberry for the bars and Strawberry, Cranberry & Yogurt, and Green Apple in the Bits. I’ve been enjoying the strawberry ones in the evening with a cup of chamomile tea. Delicious!
Quaker Soft Baked Cookies
My husband is a huge fan of soft baked cookies and knowing that these have whole grains and ingredients like real fruit and nuts, makes me happy. Flavors include Apple Cinnamon, Banana Nut, Cranberry & Yogurt, Raisins and Chocolate Almond. If you like crunchy cookies, flavors include Apple & Cinnamon, Mixed Berry, Mixed Nuts, and Raisins.
Quaker Soft Baked Bars
If you’re craving a baked treat from the bakery, this is the snack you’ll want to get. These bars are available in Banana Nut Bread and Cinnamon Roll. The Banana Nut Bread contains 5g of fiber and 6g of protein. It also contains 20% of the daily value of 5 B vitamins! I’m loving the Banana Nut Bread variety. It has crunchy almonds, real bananas and whole grain Quaker oats.
