Win Bon Appetit! The delicious life of Julia Child by Jessie Hartland

Bon Appetit Julia Child

When I was a little girl, my mom used to watch Julia Child on television.  Julia Child is my very first memory of a cooking program on television. If you’d love to share your memories of Julia Child or your love of her recipes with your child, now’s the time.  Bon Appetit! The Delicious Life of Julia Child is an illustrated Julia Child biography for the whole family but especially for your child. This cartoon style book follows Julia from when she grew up in Pasaden to Sri Lanka where she tried exotic dishes for the very first time. You’ll learn about the time she spent in France where she was inspired to enroll in Le Cordon Bleu and learn to cook.  This is such a fun book to share with your child.  You learn much about her life but you also learn fun things too like she wore a size 12 shoe and how she ends each show. Plus, there are all sorts of French vocabulary words which makes this a fun book to use in homeschooling or if you want to introduce your child to another language.
