The Complete Idiot's Guide to Belly Fat Weight Loss

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Belly Fat Weight Loss

When I was in high school, I had a flat stomach.  I wore bikinis and never gave my flat stomach a second thought…. Then it happened… I had children and I got a “few” years older. A flat stomach isn’t something that I’ve had for quite a while now.  While I certainly don’t expect to look like I did when I was 18, it would be nice to loose a little bit of belly fat.

The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Belly Fat Weight Loss is a total program for a flatter stomach and better health.  If you’re carrying extra weight around your waist, this book will teach you everything you need to know to loose weight around your waist and improve your health.  Belly fat can be a precursor to diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol and other illnesses.  You will learn easy ideas to replace the sugar and fat in y our diet by replacing your current foods with healthy, natural, belly-slimming options.  The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Belly Fat Weight Loss will also teach you about the connection between stress and belly fat. You will learn simple ways to identify and reduce stress which is a big contributor to belly fat.    The author shares tips for mindful eating habits and how to time your meals and snacks for optimal weight loss.

Of course, weight loss is not all about what you eat, the author shares cardio and strength training exercises that will increase your metabolism and slim your stomach.  Exercises have both well written descriptions and photographs so it is easy for you to follow along. There’s a variety of exercises depending on your physical activity ability.  Yoga should be easy enough for anyone to do.  There are also suggestions for other exercises like weights and calisthenics. Just choose the ones that work best for your abilities.

The end of the book includes a variety of different recipes that you can make that will incorporate the eating suggestions in the book.  There are over 75 different recipes for healthy breakfasts, lunches, dinners and more along with menu plans that will help you plan meals. Recipes include nutritional information like calories, fat, carbs, fiber, protein and sodium so that you can choose the ones that are best for your health. The recipes are definitely for things I can see myself enjoying without feeling deprived.  I’m especially tempted by the Sauteed Shrimp and Fennel and the Peaches and Cashew Mousse. This book will definitely start you on your way to belly fat weight loss. Pick up a copy of The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Belly Fat Weight Loss

  8. As I get older it becomes increasingly difficult to maintain a flat stomach, even as a male. I run, workout and watch my diet but as I get closer to 40 the metabolism is just not there. I’ll have to give this book a gander, thanks for the post.
