H2 Ion: Are the heat and humidity making your hair a frizzy mess?

Normally, I love the weather in the summer in Vermont.  We usually have very mild summers with temperatures right in the 80s for the most part. Every now and then we might get a hot, humid day in July or August but that’s about all.  For some reason, the weather in Vermont has been very odd this year.  It’s only the middle of June and already we have had horribly hot, humid days we don’t generally see until at least August. Not only does this hot, humid weather leave me cranky and unhappy, it leaves my hair frizzy and unmanageable. Humidity = a bad hair day for me!

H2 Ion

H2 Ion Hair Repair

I recently discovered a new hair repair treatment that not only helps with the frizzies but helps penetrate and soothe hair follicles.   H2 Ion works with special Moisture Infusion Microbeads (MIM).  When heat is applied to these microbeads, they dissolve and nourish my hair to restore a healthy moisture balance.  The negative ions fuse with damaged hair to seal the broken cuticles and that results in softer, shinier hair. This process seals in the moisture and locks out the humidity!   H2 Ion will also add body, prevent hair breakage and promote healthy hair growth.

H2 Ion

H2 Ion is heat activated. You simply start with clean, towel dried hair and then work in a dime sized amount of product into your hair focusing on the ends and the outer layers.  You only need to use a very tiny amount because H2 Ion is concentrated and a little goes a long way. Leave the H2 Ion in for at least one minute before you start to heat style your hair.  Don’t rinse it out. Just style it the way you normally would which in my case is blow dry. You only need to use it between once and three times per week. In my case, I have short hair and found that once a week was find for me. The results last up to two weeks.  I found it easiest to simply choose, one day a week (Friday) and use it then.  The results really do last. My hair still looked frizz free even on one of our 90 degree, humid days!

The H2 Ion thermal activated hair repair is very easy to use.  The pump applicator makes it quite simple.  Just a couple pumps for the right amount of product for your hair.  The bottle is slim and stands upright so it takes up very little space.  The hair treatment itself has a very light, pleasant scent. It’s not at all overpowering.  The ingredients list rosemary extract which I’m guessing is where some of the scent comes from.  Whatever it is, I really liked it.  I had great results with using the H2 Ion and I definitely recommend you give it a try.  They have a 30 day money back guarantee so this is the perfect time to purchase it.

Buy it

H2 Ion can be purchased directly from their website. Retail $79.95 for a 1.7 oz bottle.

I would love to try this, my hair is always a frizzy mess it seems!

  2. Having been “blessed” with stick straight hair that only frizzes if I spend 45 minutes upside down with a diffuser and my blow dryer set on high heat, I don’t really need this product at all.  BUT I have friends who’ll definitely appreciate the review, and I’ll for sure pass it along!

That said, I love that you only have to use this product every few days and it keeps working.  Yay for long-lasting products, both in the bottle and in action!

  3. I love the smell of rosemary! Thanks for sharing this. Hot and humid south is terrible on my hair!
