Enjoying a few relaxing minutes at the end of the day, is one of the things I really look forward to. It’s my time to reflect on what happened that day, think about what’s going on tomorrow, relax a little bit and unwind so I can fall asleep. My relaxation ritual changes a bit depending night but generally speaking, it involves a hot bubble bath, a cup of chamomile tea, and a highly scented candle. Not just any candle is going to make it into my relaxation routine. The candles I choose need to be highly scented. I want to be able to set them on entertainment center and light them and be able to tell that a candle is lit from the other side of the room. I want to close my eyes and loose myself in whatever scent I have chosen that evening. I may choose a yummy baking scent or a more complex scent to relax with depending on my mood.

I received a few candles from Milkhouse Creamery to enjoy in my relaxation routine. Milkhouse Creamery offers highly scented candles that are created with a blend of soy and pure beeswax for a healthy, natural burn that is the perfect choice for those with allergies. Best of all, they are also made in the USA! One of the things that has impressed me the most is their amazing selection of scents. Not only do you find the traditional scents like Pure Vanilla and Cinnamon Stick, you also find scents that I had honestly never considered before like Sweet Potato Pecan Pie, Soft Leather, and Lemon, Basil & Olive! Wow now those are scents to relax with!
Milkhouse Creamery Candles come in a variety of sizes including votives, travelers, square apothecary, butter jars, milk bottles, mugs, pillars, crocks and even reed diffusers! I absolutely love the selection of containers. The milk bottle or butter jar is the perfect candle for the kitchen and the quality of these containers is amazing. These are heavy glass jars with quality metal handles or wooden tops. These are the types of containers that once the candle is gone, you will want to hold onto the container for other uses. The half pint milk bottle has 50 hours of burn time! The 16 ounce butter jar or the classic crock which are about the size of a medium jar candle have 100 hours of burn time! Each of their crock candles come with several delicious recipe cards to try so when your crock is empty, you can create one of the recipes & use the crock for serving purposes.
I received a milk bottle jar in Barn Dance which is a masculine scent of cologne and tobacco that I really loved. Honestly, I cannot describe the scent to you but it’s sort of a musky kind of scent that I really enjoyed. It was perfect to relax to at the end of the night. I also received a Citrus and Lavender butter jar that I have been enjoying while I’m taking a bath. I just love the smell of lavender and adding the citrus in there gave it a nice, fresh scent. My very favorite scent is the crock candle I received in autumn pear. We have a pear tree outside that we always get a ton of pears from in the autumn and I just love that smell!
