School Rules: Win 3 eco-friendly Naked Binders

When the kids were little, back to school meant crayons and lunch boxes. I can still remember searching through stacks of brightly colored lunch boxes for the perfect one. Well, those days are long gone with two teenagers and back to school means binders… lots and lots of binders. Every class needs a binder of their own and with one child starting college and one starting high school, we need lots of binders.

We always look for binders that are sturdy and available in different colors. Having binders in different colors lets the kids visually organize their subjects. Blue can be science. Red can be language arts. Black can be math. They grab the blue book, the blue binder and the blue folder and they know they have what they’re supposed to. Trust me, with two kids with ADHD, this helps a lot.

The binders we used to get were made of plastic. Of course, they’re not recycled and they’re not recyclable so they just ended up being tossed when they were no good any more. Binders from Naked Binder are made of 100% recycled board and 97% post-consumer waste. They are independently tested to 250,000+ flexes. The Project Binder from Naked Binder is a bare board binder with a bit of a modest side. It has a spine wrap of durable library-grade 100% cotton book-binding cloth applied with water based glue to add color and protection to your binder.

This binder is available with either a round or square edge using either round or D rings in four different sizes.  Colors available include:

• Aztec Gold
• Black
• Chili Pepper Red
• Cobalt Blue
• Fern Green
• Flare Red
• Lime Green
• Natural Cotton/Linen
• Navy

Naked binder also offers a variety of other types of binders along with folders and tabs.  All of their products are eco-friendly. These binders are very sturdy and well put together.   The covers are thick and will stand up to constant use.  The rings opened and closed easily and snapped right back together in line when I closed them.  I hate binders that don’t line up so papers get lost and torn.  That’s not going to happen with these.

I like knowing that the school supplies I’m purchasing are more eco-friendly especially when the quality is so high.  They’re even made in the USA which is another huge plus in my book! At $7.50 to $10.50 each, these are a great deal!  Connect with Naked Binders on Twitter for all the latest product news.

One of my lucky readers is going to win a set of three of their own Naked Binders!  Here’s what you can do for a chance to win:
